This page offers information on the website and the people that run it.
The website
Chipp.in is a site about technology. It contains reviews of software, takes on recent events happening in tech, a good assortment of tips, information about software and operating system updates, and more.
The core focus is Software, Privacy, and Security.
The main intention for this site is to provide well-researched content in an ad-free environment. You won’t find ads on this site, not display ads, not as affiliate links, not as anything else.
This may lead to the question how this is financed. The short answer is: it is financed out of my (Martin Brinkmann’s) own pockets. I’m the only author right now and hosting is relatively cheap.
The long answer is that in the far future, I’d like this site to sustain itself through donations from viewers who value its content. This might allow me to hire additional experts in their field to provide even more perspectives and content.
All articles on this site are well-researched. They do not contain any AI-generated content or copied content.
Martin Brinkmann
I’m the creator and only author. Next year, I reach my two-decades anniversary when it comes to writing tech articles on the Internet.
I also write for these sites and publications currently:
- Gamestar Tech — A German site that is all about tech. Part of Gamestar, a popular games magazine in Germany.
- Weekly Tech News — A newsletter covering all things tech and geeky stuff, run by me.
- Ghacks Technology News — Founded the site in 2005, sold it some years ago to Softonic. It has been sold again, I’m no longer affiliated with the site.
- Betanews — A great well-established tech website. Was also sold, no longer writing for Betanews.
